History

 

CONDOR-FAST Aero Space Technologies Ltd. is a new player in the aerospace field but it stems from a long tradition of Swiss aviation and mechanics. From one side it emanates from famous CONDOR SA, one of the oldest Swiss producers of bikes and motorcycles. From the other side, it emanates from FARNER Air Services Ltd. the oldest Swiss aircraft manufacturer. The company has been founded 1933 by Willy Farner. Highly inspired by its pioneering spirit and passion for the aerobatics the company has been developing on one hand hang-glider, gliders and motor gliders.

 

In the beginning of the sixties, Farner started an aircraft maintenance station in Grenchen. Other plants were opened in Sion, Lausanne and Basel. In the recession in the early nineties the manufacturing plant has been built in Grenchen.

 

After 70 years of company history, a new investor group has acquired the property of the company. Since the 1st of December 2005, the company has started a new era under the name FAST Aero Space Technologies Ltd.

 

Today CONDOR-FAST is a modern enterprise with a world-wide known name. Our variety of activities makes us an interesting and flexible partner in the airline business.
